Phillips Proudly Supports LEED Program
Learn How You Can Benefit From This Popular Program
7-01-09
The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) program has continued to gain popularity and importance in our industry. Phillips Manufacturing Co. supports the LEED program and manufactures products which can contribute to LEED points under the Materials & Resources category. All certified projects receive a LEED plaque (among other benefits), which is the nationally recognized symbol demonstrating that a building is environmentally responsible, profitable and a healthy place to live and work. The LEED program is a great benefit for all Phillips customers.
This program provides financial incentives (i.e. tax credits, zoning allowances, etc.) to those building projects that meet the highest green building and performance measures. Not only does the LEED program offer financial benefits, but also environmental benefits such as reduced waste sent to landfills, less harmful greenhouse gas emissions, etc. LEED has become extremely popular and is used within the many facets of our industry. It is not only accepted in the United States but has also progressed into 41 different countries.
Phillips has recently updated our website to include a LEED letter request form. Our form streamlines the LEED product information request process and allows for faster turnaround time of LEED submittal letters for Phillips products used on a LEED project. Here you will fill out pertinent project information so we can efficiently get your project LEED letter completed. The form and other information is under our Technical Specifications section of our website.
